The 25-35 is a fun cartride to shoot but on the light side for deer. What I do with mine is reload with spitzer bullets and then load the rifle with one round only. The loading tube's plunger is round, at least mine is, and prevents loading pointed bullets in the tube. I found this out when I was going to load one round in the tube and one round in the chamber. The round plunger pushed the cartridge out of line and it wouldn't let it slide in. I''m not sure about this but it seems that I remember Remington selling 117 grain .25 caliber round nose bullets. Check it out.
