I wouldn't say that I hate them but would never buy one for a couple reasons.

1) My brother's blew up in his face
2) A friend almost had the same thing happen but the bolt was sticking out at a 90 degree angle.

Before you ask, yes I was there when both events happened. When my brother's happened we were kids, all I remember (other then my brother being in shock) was my dad getting his money back from the gun store. My friend got a new rifle from Ruger with no explanation as to why his rifle blew up. And no, he wasn't shooting reloads it was factory ammo.
