Well you got plenty of poop there but I sure wouldn't be hunting anything with FMJs. No, you won't have any pelt damage but you won't have any pelts either. Unless your putting that .308 hole in his brain, clipping his spine, or through his heart, that old coyote ain't hang around and let you skin him. They are tough critters and will travel a long way with a little hole like that in them. Like on any game animal, you gotta use an expanding bullet. It is quite inhumane to do otherwise. Use the FMJs on the range.
