Hey everyone, I'm looking into USPSA and possibly 3-gun. I need a good pistol and am leaning towards the G34/35. I will be renting both this weekend for testing purposes.

My question is this. Can I buy the G34 and get the .40cal barrel later or do I have to go with the G35 first and go down to the 9mm barrel?

The reason I ask is I already reload the 9mm and have lots of it and would use it for training/bowling pin shoots, but I'm planning on the .40 for USPSA for the power factor. I will reload the .40 (duh) but at the moment I dont.

Also, is there a minor/major power factor in 3-gun?
