I'm guessing a typo. Perhaps the 9mm weight included the magazine.
In my P2000sk manual, the specifications page, the weights are listed in ounces;
Weight empty 9mm, 23.8 oz.
weight empty .40S&W, 25.8 oz.
empty mag 2.65 oz. for both.
