Ive ben using nthat load in 2 Rossi Pumas and a redhawk. Ive tried both CCI LPMs and Wolf/Tula LPMs. Both work well, but the accuracy is better with the Wolf primers. In the Redhawk you need to crimp securley or expect an occasional misfire or hangfire. Good fireball in dim light. Accuracy in redhawk is good. Recoil is good too. Havent chronied the redhawk, but in the 20" Puma you get 1700FPS- this exceeds the 30-30 in horsepower! Ive used both 296 abd H110 with nearly identical results. The XTP is very terminal for whitetails.
