Thank you Jeff45. I whole-heartedly agree that revolvers are much less failure prone than auto-loaders. Less things going on during the firing cycle, hence more reliable. As far as "rugged," I pose this: If you were to have fate deal some tremendous force upon your firearm (long drop, run over by truck, etc) and then be forced to use it, what would you want? Me, a Ruger revolver. They're tanks. Just my two slugs o' copper.
