I say that's a good thing! Yep, messy, but it sure lets you know right away that you fugged up rather than pretending it's a good round.

It's a lot easier to clean up a few grains of spilled powder than it is to pull an already seated and crimped (but no primer) round!

Don't need to ask-- of course I've done both!
