I'm not familiar with Taurus grips specifically, but the term Monogrip is a trade name for a type of one-piece wraparound grip marketed by Hogue. Monogrips are typically installed by slipping an attachment fitting over the grip alignment pins at the base of the revolver's grip frame, sliding the grip unit upwards along the grip frame, and then installing a single screw through a hole in the bottom of the Monogrip and into the attachment fitting. AFAIK all Monogrips cover and lengthen the butt, because this is where the attachment fitting and screw goes.

I don't know about the boot grips; perhaps these are what normally comes on the gun.
