Way back when, I saw a guy do 5 poppers at 50 feet in 1.67 seconds from port-arms...not too shabby. That's on a Pact timer, not somebodys wristwatch either, and that was a bone-stock 870. Pretty quick when you consider he's waiting for a random delay beep, shouldering and *connecting*.

I think you'll also find that the the guns that fire with the trigger held back while cycling (Model 12's, 37's, 520-30's) don't have any advantage. You still have to line up on a target and that's what takes time. FUN, I'll admit...
