I am another happy Neos owner. But I am of the opinion that a .22LR is the second pistol anyone should buy. A 9mm is a better choice for a first pistol because of the considerable improvement in self defense capabilities, IMO.

Keep in mind that a Neos or other similarly priced .22LR pistol pays for itself in ammo costs pretty fast. It is almost silly not to own one. (That may work on your wife.
