Ask Gary Fadden if using a full auto weapon in self defense is a good idea. He will tell you no. Fadden has been there and done that.

Problem with slipping it in a must pass bill is not one of those congressmen will do it. They won't do it because there would be tremendous backlash. Get used to Hughes amendment because it is not going to change.
