Colt put out a "fast" nine in the 1911 frame. It's the 38 Super. I personally sold my Hi Power because the trigger in my 1911 9mm is far superior to the Hi Power's trigger. Unless you want to work your Hi Power over, it won't have that fantastic trigger that most 1911 design guns have right out of the box. I say pick both guns up, rack the slide and pull the trigger. The 1911 gun will have a better trigger. And since the gun is for fun, trigger pull over high capacity is more important.
