I also use #7 in my .450 SMC (nonpropritorary .45 Super) with 230 gr bullets. I have less problems with my powder measure using it than with the 296, that I use in my .41 Magnum, which is a MUCH finer powder. If you haven't had problems, why borrow trouble?
