Be very careful making it subsonic. Too low, the bullet might not clear the barrel. This then will lead to a massive KB! when shooting the next round without realizing that a bullet is stuck inside the barrel. A guy got killed this way a few years back trying to make his rifle bullet subsonic. He was an experience reloader and was testing his subsonic reloads.
IMHO people should say away from reloading rifle bullets for subsonic use. Subsonic rifle bullets have little benefits with a lot of risk involved. Make sure after every shoot that the bullet cleared the barrel, just to be on the safe side.
