108xx = that SN is too early for a stainless gun, nickel maybe?
See pic for location of serial number. Also, is it a 5 or 6 shot?

You are right it is nickel and is a 6 shot.
Inside when I swing the cylinder out is the number 186XX.
On the butt is the number I posted 108XX.
