Actually, I am referring to an older version of the same, from WW2...the idea was that the penetrator was too small and unstable in flight, so it got a "ballistic envelope" which would disintegrate at the target.
What I am after is more-or-less decent performance on a soft target and at least a puncture on soft armor...what kind of
shotgun ammo would do that?
