Found your posting of 2001 while I was doing research on a baby hammerless.
Google patents # 1216001 for a combined rebounding, that will give you the patent diagram of the spring. mine is a mdl 1910 and is missing some parts, I would be interested in some pictures of the parts, and will share mine. I bought the book baby hammerless revolvers by frank m. sellers also and it is a pretty good source for identifying models.
