The Nosler manual (#4) does not give seating depths for any of their bullets in any caliber. The only info that they give is the SAAMI max (and sometimes) min OAL for any given cartridge. For the .45 acp these are 1.190" and 1.275". I guess they figure that anybody using their bullets is going to be experimenting, looking for the best combination of components and assembly. Like the doctor said, the flat nose is a little wider at the end than regular rn ball profile would be, so it needs to be a little shorter than the max oal or the "corners" rub in the mag (at least in mine). You might have to play with the lengths of a few dummy rounds to see if they will work in your mags okay.

did you notice the in the LoadMAP they gave only the 1.275" cartridge oal for all of the 230 gr. bullets? In other weights the oal they gave varied with different bullets.
