I live in a small apt. so my go to is my pistol (either XD 9mm or USP .45) followed by my Mini-14 and finally my Win 1300. This is based on practicality as well as the confidence I have with the weapons.

I have much less practice with the shotgun because honestly, the recoil beats me up. I'm 5'9" and 160, and I can fire hundreds of rounds through my pistol or Mini, but about 30-40 rounds into shooting the 12ga, I'm ready to move on to something else.
