Regarding the grip safety, the original write up made it sound (but didn't specifically call it out) that the safety has a spring loaded action to it, much in the vein of the P7 series of pistols. If that is the case, I don't think accidentally pressing the safety, or having a holster strap on it, would activate it inadvertently.
