Had a chance to drive up to the largest hunting and shooting store in 50-100 mile radius.They had a fairly full stock of handguns( many for at least MSRP) and rifles.Bushmaster in three models,two or three of each sitting on the table,$2000+.Several other makes and models at $1500 +/-.

Lots of 115gr 9mm FMJ available. Also had Speer 124gr GD JHP,Hornady 135gr Flex CD,and Federal 147gr H. S. The kicker??? $38 to $42 per box.

Although they were well stocked with other handgun and rifle ammo,I don't buy it so the prices didn't register.

Is $2 per round for JHP going to be the new reality?
