a good used rem 1100 can be had for 275-400 dollars and there are boat loads of parts and accessries(barrels,stocks). i have a older 1100 that i shoot and also lend out and i clean the magizine tube and wipe the inside of the action out every 600 rounds or so and i don,t remember the last time it failed to work with mostly light trap loads. the only down side is its a little heavy for all day hunting,but its made of steel. eastbank.
