My Taurus needed repair, and I love it.

I have a Taurus M85 that I had to return for service. I got it back in ten days. This was twelve years ago and it has been a gem ever since. The trigger is better than any S&W J frame I've ever shot. Now, I understand that the service turnaround is longer now if you did have a problem, but their manufacturing methods have improved in that time as well, reducing the likelihood that you will. Incidentally, I have a Taurus 607 of the same vintage that is an absolute tank.

I have to admit that I have been interested in Charter Arms' .44 Bulldog, at least I was until I found out that you can't use Buffalo Bore's inhumanly powerful .44 Spl. loads in it. If I was looking at .38's, though, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Taurus.
