Old "Kimel" 22LR

My father received a 22LR western 6 back in the 60’s or 70's as a gift. While he was still at home but dealing with Alzheimer’s, he removed the shell ejector rod assembly from the barrel and subsequently lost it (or hid it somewhere, who knows where) and no we didn‘t let him have any shells. He is now deceased and I have taken over the gun which is fun to shoot but the only way I can eject the spent shells is using an aluminum rod through the hole where the ejector rod should go. I cannot find a model number on the gun but it says on one side below the cylinder “Made in the USA for Kimel Industries, Matthews, NC” and on the other side “Western Six, Caliber 22L.R.”. The Hammer has a gold finish to it, the barrel is approx 4.75 inches and the grip is wood. Does this sound familiar to anyone and if so how could I get in touch with someone about a replacement ejector assembly? If you need pics to help, I can e-mail some.
