Synthetic motor oil to lube, Hoppe's #9 to clean on the bench. Breakfree CLP as a field expedient cleaner/lube.
Mobile 1 works quite well on an AR. However, over the years I spilled more on the bench than goes on the gun and it is still cheaper than the dedicated gun products.
