I think you are in one of those gray areas.Is it to much, is not enough I think what it comes down to if your bullets back out not enough if you ruin the case to much. It all comes down to bullet, caliber,make of case,and what you like

If you are using jacketed it's hard to tell if you are getting a good crimp but lead you can get so much you damage the rim of the case.
