Try 17 gr. of Bluedot with a good cast slug of 240 or 250 gr. This will do anything that you can ask for from a 44Mag.
I use this load in 2 44 Trappers and 2 Redhawks and it is great.
My sons ring the 300 yrd. gong with open sights with this load. Your rifles should stay tight for a loooong time shooting these.
