A guy I know just picked up a new 308/7.62 built with a DPMS lower. That's about all I know about the rifle. Haven't seen it myself.
He says he took it out of the box, pulled the charging handle back, tried to close the bolt, it won't close. Goes about halfway and stops.

Is there something obvious that would cause this?
