6mm? That better be one damn big 6mm! Seriously, H-870 is actually better for belted magnums. I would consider .264 Win mag or 6.5mm Rem Mag as a minimum sized cartridge for this powder. It's just too darn slow. To give you an idea, it burns too slow to be used in the 30/06 efficiently! H-870 is one of the slowest commercial powders made. It's great for bullets over 140 grains in 7mmRM. Sounds like it's time to for you to invest in one of the new Ultra Mags!
