I use a pull through on mine too. Works fine, but I made the mistake of getting overzealous with the patch size once. Had to hold the rifle upside down, whilst standing on the end of the cable that was hanging out of the muzzle, and pull the rifle upwards to get the cable and patch out. Even then, I didn't know if it was going to come out or not!  Live and learn.
