Art: I appreciate what you're saying, but I don't hunt big game any longer. Used to go with a cross draw, much like what you're descibing. The handgun is all I'll be carrying, kind of a walk-a-bout set up for plinking. May use the handgun for javelina, but this will be someplace between rarely and never.
