I went and looked at the Mossberg again... didn't buy it. Wanted to explore other guns. Went over to the dealer who had the benelli and saw he had a Remington 870 field model that was near new condition on the used rack. Picked it up for $250. And there is a ton of aftermarket support so I think I may just build this gun.
