I owned a Norinco UZI which had been converted to standard folder configuration. It was a blast to shoot.
I used to work the 10" steel plates my club has at 40yds over with it...rapid fire from one end of the plates to the other, no misses and quick multiple hits.
I also shot it at 100yds, and got very nice, small groups.
The UZI folder is very compact when folded, yet deploys very fast.
Mine was also set up with an Israeli surplus wood stock, which I preferred for shooting...they were available cheap for a while.
The only problem I ever had was an instance of doubling...fairly freaked out the old guy at the next bench! The two shots went off so fast that I wasn't sure if it happened or not. So I loaded two rounds in a mag, and tried again...yup, two shots.
I stopped shooting, and put it away...turned out the Norinco top cover was slightly bowed, and let the bolt/firing striker jump the sear.
New surplus top overs were cheap. I installed one, and problem solved.
Eventually, I sold it to fund the purchase of an M1 carbine from the CMP.
