With lead, you'll probably have better results with .452 or maybe even larger. Most (if not all) modern 45Colts are .451 diameter, so stepping up for lead is a safe bet.
With jacketed bullets, .451 or .452 will do. If memory serves, Hornady XTP's in heavier than 230g are .452.
