All autos can and will experience a malfunction at some point. When someone says they have never experienced a malfunction, I take them at their word, but I wonder exactly how much and how often they shoot. I also am curious as to whether or not they shoot one-handed as well as with their support hand.

Firing an auto from a good stable stance is very different from firing one-handed at a funky angle, which is how a real SD situation may go down.

I think it's better to actually experience the occasional malfunction in a range environment. Then you'll know what to do if it happens for real.
