It is rather more trouble than you might suppose because the wide rim of the 54R is bigger than even the 30-06. The ejector would have to be made to fit. This is likely a heat-treated part that can only be cut safely by grinding, and not by a chamber reamer. I would suggest that if you want more horsepower you go to 30-06 so the ejector can simply be purchased.
