That rule was never enforced on me at Gateway. Sometimes I try to act like a proper rifleman with my AR, other times I unload. My biggest problem there was watching the light planes coming in to land about 1/2 mi over the berm then looking at a mag full of tracers sitting there.
Never did, pilots might not appreciate the light show.
