Hey guys, I know that bluing is a low end rust prevention application, but would I be asking for trouble if I remove it? I have a CVA .36 caliber that I chose to be a custom project. I refinished the grips to a beautiful ice white, topped that off with six coats of a high end clear glaze, and chopped the barrel to 2 1/2 inches. The next step is changing the finish on the frame, cylinder and barrel. I think the mild steel (underneath the bluing) would look great. Any ideas?
