Yep, both the shotgun AND the 223 operate off of the same pump. Because it's not semi-automatic, it's not affected by SB-23 or the federal "AW" legislation. I don't own one, but I recently had a chance to play with one at a local gun store. There is a large selector that switches the pump action and the trigger between the 12g and the 223. Kinda cheesy in my opinion, and not worth near $2k. I might be tempted to get one just to "play with" if they were somewhere in the neighborhood of $500-$600. It's a plinking/novelty firearm, definately not a true "militia-type" arm, and far from what I'd want in a good hunting arm. You would be better served by buying a Benelli M1-Tactical and an M-1A, and you'd be spending about the same $$. Just my opinion, of course...
