.280 Rem. is my favorite caliber. I have two of them and have been reloading for .280 since 1962. After a lot of experimentation, and a lot of game killed, (elk down to ground squirrels), I've settled on two loads (for many years, now), and they are...

160 gr. Nosler Partition, 54.0 grains IMR4350, CCI L.R. primers.

139 gr. Hornady Interlock, 56.0 grains IMR4350, CCI L.R. primers.

Both of these loads shoot 3/4" groups, hot or cold, rain or shine, altitude or sea level, in my two bolt rifles, with 22" bbls.

Don't know what they'd do in anyone else's.

FWIW. J.B.
