2 things wrong with this:

1. The bullet was never designed to be an expanding bullet, there's a good chance that the jecket material is too thick or hard to expand reliably.

2. Unless the bullet is fully jacketed, including the base, the lead core could squirt out of the jacket in the bore leaving the jacket behind as an obstruction to the next shot.
