De-hairing a feral is the same as a domestic if not previously gutted... ie: trapped hog killed when ready to butcher. But if it is toted out gutted, you use a "roofer's" torch and singe off the hair, scrape, repeat until smooth as a baby's bottom... Me? I just skin them
As for the snout... The pics on the pit seemed longish to me but I am always willing to admit when I was wrong... unless such admission could result in jail time...
