Unlike the new Sigs which use the cheaper MIM parts to save the money and increase their profits I would look into the H&K or Glock. Glock carries 65% of the police market for a good reason. They work!
What I really like is the Colt CCO with a Commander barrel/slide and an Officer frame. That or an older P220 Sig would be my older choice. The HK while a great gun just does not feel comfortable in my hand
