If it is going to be a carry gun I would definitely go with the SA. Save some $$$$ and the Les Baer would be more of a BBQ carry gun. More of a safe queen or strictly range gun it seems.

I have heard nothing but good things about SA 1911s so you are not really "settling" on the SA.
