If I was looking for a new P226 I would get the MK25. I really like it but I already own a couple P226s.

The only issue with buying a P226 is very likely you will want to buy more SIG pistols.

Now that the firearm market it getting more back to normal I am seeing more CPO - Certified Pre Owned SIG pistols including P226s often for unfer $600. These are tremendous deals.

Here is my CPO P226 that I bought for $500 a couple years ago. I changed out the grips to the SIG factory aluminum grips and use the Mecgar 18 round magazines. I just LOVE this P226 and the P226 and P228 are my top favorite 9MM pistols. I prefer the "plain Jane" variety myself.
