OHHHH BUT YOU CAN!!!
Consider your eye is the rear sight and adjust your "mount' accordingly... To rule out "flinch factor", go shooting with a buddy and load each others guns... Using a snap cap cap or fired round "recrimped" randomly put into sequence as a "dud" and watch the other shoot...
A flinch will be painfully evident when the gun goes...

Also have others fire your gun and look at the POA/POI of their shots.
