3 years ago one of my hunting buddies bought an Xtrema2 and he has let me shoot it at trap and while duck hunting. I think it is a fine shotgun but it does feel bulky to me. Last year I bought a Maxus and I really like the lighter weight, I think it adds to the pointability of the gun. That's my opinion but if you like the way the Xtrema feels you should go with your opinion
