"Feeling" is subjective. The case will turn on what
you knew at the time and
why you concluded what you did from what you knew--an objective standard.
You may
feel afraid, but you must
believe that you are in imminent danger and have no alternative to the use of deadly force, and that belief must be judged
reasonable by the jury after the fact, based on what you knew at the time.
