- Being a good and willing witness is NOT "doing nothing."
- Calling the authorities is NOT "doing nothing."
- Helping the wounded until first responders arrive is NOT "doing nothing."
- Helping others escape the killing field is NOT "doing nothing."
There are a lot of actions a good and moral person can take that are
NOT "doing nothing" -- and that also do not involve shooting the bad guy. Only doing nothing is doing nothing.
